• LM smoothing using hierarchical Pitman-Yor process and power law discounting (Huang and Renals, 2008)
• Maximum entropy LMs (Alumäe and Kurimo, 2010)
• Variable mixture model (Lang, 2011)
• Converting N-gram backoff LMs to OpenFST finite state representation (using a different approach than SRILM's make-ngram-pfsg)
